The vehicles are 1/35th scale plastic model kits of a Russian truck and armored car converted to Mishima use. The Algeroth forces had the better of it even though Imperial Trenchers were delivered into the middle of the Citadel via the H.M.S. Recalcitrant. While Mishima forces attacked the perimeter an armored car and truck attacked the front door. The Armored car managed to blast the door off it’s hinges under withering fire from a Razide. It then drove inside and toasted an Ezoghoul. Unfortunately a hoard of Legionnaires took the last remaining wound from the armored car and blew the turret off.

Algeroth Objective: Algeroth forces were to repel all attackers.
Mishima/ Brotherhood and Imperial Objective: Allied forces were to mine the Citadel for destruction.

Each player carried contact mines that needed to be placed on the support walls of the Citadel. Twenty specific placement areas were required in order to achieve 100 percent success. Yellow headed tacks represented mines and were pushed into the styrofoam wall as the players placed them. After the game was called only about 20 pecent of the Citadel structure was compromised. In a couple of cases the players forgot the goal was to place mines and not engage in close combat. The Citadel stands to be attacked another day.

The Citadel is a cut down version of the Brotherhood Cathedral I built some time ago. Two side bays were removed thereby shortening it up a bit. It proved easy to reach inside and position figures without too much trouble. Measuring exact distances was a bit tricky so some had to be estimated.
