| Requirements to play: Players must download the Vassal Game Engine from the Vassal support site and the Iron Seas Game Module file. Once downloaded and installed players simply need to sync into the Vassal Site Game Server, setup a gaming area and share a game module. Since there is no Artificial Intelligence players must own copies of the rules to play and adjudicate between themselves any altercations of the rules. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ship Sets: Ships can be created using any typical "paint" program, saved as gif files and imported into the game. Generic Ship counters have been included for quick and easy play. Flagship counters are ideal for indicating ships commanding the fleet. A selection of other counters are provided for a decidedly Jules Vernian flavored game. Aeroships, Martian Flyers and Walkers. Nemo and the Kraken. Zeppelins and aerosquadrons ply the skies. What more could you ask for. "Custom" sets can be created and shared between players. Markers are also included to represent such things as Critical Hits, smoke and mines to allow players to move between serious engagements and fictional encounters. Follow the Iron Seas Fleets link to see the Counters currently Available. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
